MY TAKE: Bryston of Canada offers a range of outstanding products that offer not only outstanding sound quality, but exceptional reliability and customer support. In business for over fifty years, you know they’re doing something right. As proof of Bryston's beleif if their product, they offer a 20 yearHighly recommended! – Galen Carol

Bryston integrated amplifiers give no ground to their separate counterparts. The new Bi-200 is literally constructed from the Bryston BP-19 Preamplifier and 3B amplifier into a single chassis offering the best of both products without occupying extra space and costly interconnects.

High performance and transparency is always our goal, and an integrated amplifier doesn’t have to compromise ability for convenience. Build your ultimate dream system with our separates or keep your stereo compact and discrete with our Bi-200 Inte- grated Amplifier.

    BRYSTON Bi-200 ANALOG CIRCUITS -

The Bi-200 analog integrated amplifier is a byproduct of years of R&D that resulted in the development of an optimized discrete buffer amplifier capable of delivering a staggeringly low THD+N distortion. The analog signal path is a fully balanced design, using an array of very tightly matched components and a compact circuit de- sign to achieve the lowest possible noise and superior common mode rejection. With the new balanced inputs and outputs we
have been able to make significant improvements in performance in the Bi-200. In the past, a fully balanced signal path was difficult to achieve because you would need a volume pot with 4 tapers. With the availability of these new volume control chips, this is no longer an issue.

This new design allows for a lower noise floor than previous designs and is much better at common mode noise suppression. For the music enthusiast, this level of circuit sophistication means more life-like performances, more detail and more dimensionality from the recordings you love.

The Ear: Best of 2025 - "It is possible to argue that the Bryston is a ‘head’ purchase rather than a ‘heart’ one. It’s a mass of no-nonsense engineering, route one connectivity and that legendary Bryston warranty giving peace of mind rather than stirring the blood. But, the Bryston walks its sober walk so the rest of your system can run. The absolute transparency with which it goes about its business means that the rest of your system can crack on with being as good as it can be with no additional colouration or character; simply a generous helping of no-nonsense power. Once you come around to the Bi200’s way of thinking, it becomes harder and harder to imagine going about amplification any other way." - Ed Selley

AV Forums: Conclusion - "I have to be honest. I thought I was going to like the Bryston; the basic ingredients are such that it was unlikely I was going to be anything other than keen on it. I actually find myself rather more emotionally engaged than that. It’s so effortlessly talented that it takes a little while to appreciate quite how good it is and, if I had the budget ...
It’s probably the finest one box review tool amp I’ve yet to test."

HiFi Advice: "With the Bi-200, Bryston has created an integrated amplifier that successfully combines all the benefits of the 3B Cubed power amplifier with an excellent, fully balanced analog preamplifier. Interestingly, the Bi-200’s preamplifier section may well be its most significant achievement, and at the same time, the most unassuming because it is essentially transparent. Operating precisely as the 3B Cubed, the Bi-200 presents a balanced sound that is not typically encountered in a powerful amplifier, characterized by sounding rich, relaxed, controlled, and neutral all at once. The amplifier allows the music to be conveyed in a smooth manner, but otherwise, just as it was recorded. The Bi-200 is not only extremely low in distortion and exceedingly neutral, but it also skillfully avoids becoming lean, devoid of color, or “un-musically” analytical. Its design may be an opinion-divider, and there are indeed “sexier” specimens out there. However, in terms of performance, the Bi-200 is faultless. This amplifier is not just worth considering for those who are in the market for a powerful yet musical integrated amplifier. Even if one is looking only for a power amplifier, I would recommend trying the Bi-200, as chances are that its built-in preamp will outperform the external preamplifier."

Soundstage!: "The essential Bryston sound that I’ve known and loved for many years is still manifest in the Bi‑200. Like its predecessors, the Bi‑200 embodies the strong, quiet, relaxed type—only more so and more laid-back. As a Canadian-made, high-performing integrated amplifier that costs well under $10K and carries a 20-year warranty, the Bi‑200 is great value and is easy to recommend." - Philip Beaudette

Analoguefelloowship: No Compromise Integrated Amplifier! "Without reservation, I concurred that the Bryston Bi-200 Integrated Amplifier was a No Compromise in terms of design, manufacture and performance,…and could be considered a Bargain,…that also came with an unprecedented twenty [20] years warranty!"

FWD-NL: "Conclusion - With the Bi-200, Bryston has struck another nice milestone. This is truly an incredibly high-performing integrated amplifier worthy of the Bryston name in terms of look, feel and performance. If you like an honest, uncloaked music reproduction without making the step to loose front and final amplification, this Bi-200 offers you ninety-nine comma nine percent of the music experience on a smaller floor area. The best part? This Bryston Bi-200 does this above all with a significantly more favorable price tag." Recommended.
