         Tube electronics are expensive, right? Not any more! JoLida has introduced a range of cost effective tube electronics that makes owning tubes a modestly priced pleasure that most any audiophile can afford! 
         It would be assumed that to offer products at these prices JoLida would have to take a great many shortcuts in construction. Surprisingly that is not the case. A host of expensive component parts and manufacturing steps are used in the fabrication of JoLida products. The faceplates, for example, require a four step process; first bead blasted, then oxidized, bead blasted a second time and then re-oxidized. This multi step process results in an attractive and stable satin finish.

Jolida Factory Upgrades

Want even better performance? Now you can with a factory hot rod mod that will take the Jolida amp of your choice to new heights. The crafty guys at Jolida install some extra special parts in critical areas of the circuit to improve performance.
You no longer have to worry about reliability, reparability or resale issues with aftermarket modifications, now you can boost performance by factory installed and approved upgrades. Unlike third party modifications, the Jolida factory upgrades preserve the character of the amp, and simply add more resolution. It's just $179 and available on all full tube amps except the 707A and 1000RC, which already have the upgrades.

Recent upgrades and improvements

Starting in 2004 Jolida has been quietly upgrading their gear with the addition of even higher quality parts such as Rubicon capacitors, Alps Blue Pots, higher grade resistors, better input jacks and speaker binding posts. Several of the models now offer the new EZ-Bias System, which allows quick, easy and accurate biasing of the amplifier with no external meter required.

JD502B and JD502RC - Full Tube Integrated Amplifier - On paper not allot more powerful than the 302, the 502 is capable of dealing with more difficult loads. This amplifier has good bass control and punch with refined high frequency response. The 502 uses higher capacity parts in critical locations allowing the use of most power output tubes.

Customer comment:  "707 arrived today - first impression - fantastic! I spent 4 hours listening to favorite test CDs from Diana Krall to Steve Winwood. Basically the amp does it all just about right.
I'll step back a bit for you. I have a degree in music from Berklee in Boston - 1970 played Sax and Flute for years. I have a trained ear if anyone does.
The amp I have been using up 'til now is a Jadis Orchestra Reference with KT90 tubes and there is little about this amp one can fault. I was not trying to upgrade with the 707a purchase - merely a back up amp that I could roll tubes in and have fun upgrading.
Sooo - I was quite surprised when the $1200 Jolida sounded every bit as good as the $3600 Jadis Orchestra Reference. At approximately one-third the cost, this amp offers 99% of the Jadis and in some cases it even surpasses it. To my surprise it throws a slightly deeper and wider soundstage AND at only a limited listen with no back and forth switching - it seemed to separate voices just a tad better in some cases. However my first impression also says that the Jadis has a slightly more defined sound with a touch more detail. Still considering the price difference - it is amazing that the Jolida is even close . Also, without a doubt, the Jadis is still the most beautiful amp any one has ever put together - it exudes Old World Class as no other amp I have ever seen. The Jolida selector switch did come off the first time I used it - I will deal with that in time. In some ways you get what you pay for - but if it is music you are looking for the Jolida certainly delivers. Rick P

TUBE HYBRID INTEGRATED AMPLIFIERS

    What happens when you combine a tube input stage with a solid state output stage? If it's a JoLida 1501A or 1701A, you end up with a musically satisfying yet powerful and practical amplifier. 
     These two units seek to combine the best of both the solid state and tube worlds.
