    MYTEK Brooklyn DAC/Headphone Amplifier/Preamplifier, Silver - DEMO

Mytek brings its experience of designing and building digital equipment for the professional audio industry to world of hi-fi with the full-featured Brooklyn DAC. More than just a DAC, the Brooklyn combines a feature rich digital to analog converter with an outstanding headphone amplifier and tosses in analog inputs allowing it to function as a preamplifier. It’s one of

Michał Jurewicz, Founder and President of Mytek Digital describes the Brooklyn: “The Brooklyn DAC is one of the world’s first stand-alone, high-performance DAC with MQA® technology. It’s a new design from the ground up, with a brand new 32bit/384k USB Class2, driverless on Mac and all Linux streamers, and offers superior sound thanks to the new generation Sabre chipset. It’s ready for upcoming hi-res MQA streaming (up to 384kHz), and it plays all digital formats including DSD256, with a theoretical dynamic range of 130dB. The Brooklyn also offers high-quality analog input stages (both line-level and MM/MC phono), and balanced headphone outputs”.

    REVIEWS:

The Absolute Sound: “Even without MQA the Mytek Brooklyn offers exceptional value due to its versatility, flexibility, ergonomic elegance, and overall high level of sonic performance. Once you throw MQA into the equation, I have to say, “Game over” for any DAC or DAC manufacturer that can’t keep up.”- Steven Stone

Positive Feedback: “the Brooklyn's price-sound relationship makes it almost irresistible. And if you are more into excitement, dynamics, and incredibly low bass than that last drop of spatial width, you will not be able to bypass the Mytek—neither in its price category nor also quite a bit beyond that.” – Dirk Sommer
