Even though Quicksilver products are reasonably priced, Mr. Sanders believes in the value of meticulous hand-built construction techniques. You won’t see advertisements for Quicksilver products in audio magazines. Mike believes that if you offer a quality product, reputation will spread by word of mouth. This cost savings allows Quicksilver to use top quality parts, and labor intensive hand construction, while keeping their prices low.

The Quicksilver Phono Preamp embodies the Quicksilver philosophy of simplicity. It uses only two triode tube sections per channel, resulting in a very refined direct sound. In standard trim the Quicksilver Phono Preamp accepts moving magnet cartridges. Their own outboard step-up transformer is an option which increases gain for use with moving coil cartridges.
